Wolves land Pole
Wolves have completed the signing of Poland international striker Tomasz Frankowski.
The 31-year-old joins the Championship outfit in a £1.4 million deal from Spanish second division side Elche.
Frankowski has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Black Country outfit after completing a medical and agreeing personal terms with Glenn Hoddle's side.
"I am delighted to have finally signed him," Hoddle told the club's official website. "It has taken a long time.
"His scoring record is phenomenal. This is the last part of the jigsaw in the penalty box, he is a clinical finisher and we hope that will continue with us.
"He has got to go back to Spain now. It is not great preparation for the weekend, as he is due back to train with us on Saturday.
"But, he is fully match fit, having played as recently as last Sunday. We will have to wait and see if we get international clearance."
Frankowski has been joined by Scottish international Maurice Ross after the former Rangers defender completed a permanent move to Wolves on Wednesday.
Ross has been on loan at Molineux since October from Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
The player has now completed a free transfer move to the Midlands outfit, signing a contract until the end of the season.
